If you are thinking of visiting Harvest Church Charlotte for the first time we want you to feel welcomed. Coming to a place you have never been before can feel awkward. So we have put together a list of information below to help you be informed and know what to expect when visiting us.

We are conveniently located near I-85 and 485 near Charlotte Douglas Airport. We are at 7429 Tuckaseegee Rd between Little Rock Rd and Wilkinson Blvd. We are straight across the street from West Mecklenburg High School. The church is not visible from Tuckaseegee Rd but you will see our sign at our entrance. Go to our location page to see us on Google maps.

There is no dress code. Some of our people will be dressed up, but most of us wear casual and comfortable clothing to all services and events. Some wear suits but many wear jeans. Come in what you are comfortable wearing.

You might want to get here about 10-15 minutes before the start of the service. This will allow plenty of time for parking, entering the facility, and getting any helpful information.

Our church is contained in one building. Everyone enters through the front entrance in the center of the building. Inside the front entrance is our foyer. And in the center of our foyer is our Guest Services counter. We have visitor team volunteers who can provide you with information and answer any questions.

Our worship experience is blended worship which includes modern upbeat praise and worship as well as the traditional hymns of the faith. We have a full live band with a vocal praise team.

  • We start our service with one introductory worship song.
  • Next, someone will open the service and make announcements.
  • Afterwards, we have a time for offertory and 3yrs-5th grade kids are released for Little/Super Church.
  • Then, we have a time of praise and worship.
    We give an invitation for prayer prior to our last song.
  • Finally, we have a preaching/teaching time ended with a song and an opportunity for prayer.
  • The service is closed with a benediction prayer.
  • Services last about one and a half hours.
  • We provide a loving and secure place for your children. We have a nursery(0-17 months) and toddler(18 months-2yrs) room available for the full time of our Sunday service.All children 0-5th grade are checked in when you arrive at a check-in Kiosk. After check-in children 3yrs - 5th grade will enter the sanctuary with their parent(s)/guardian(s). 0-2yrs can be left in our nursery/toddler room after check-in.
  • We dismiss for Little Church(3-5yrs) and Super Church(K-5th Grade) during our offertory time(After our introductory worship song and announcements). The children are met by our children ministry volunteers in the foyer area and escorted to their meeting area in our fellowship hall. Parents will come to check-out their children after service in the fellowship hall. Our kids ministry volunteers are background checked. Learn more on our Kids Ministries page.
  • On Sunday Nights from 5:00PM-6:30PM our Ablaze youth meet 6th-12th Graders. Learn more on our Youth Ministries page.

We have a dedicated security team who monitor our services and events. They also monitor the parking lot. We have door locking procedures in place to control entrance to our facilities and to our children ministry areas. Our children ministry volunteers are background checked.

We are culturally diverse with many ethnic and religious backgrounds. We are made up of various age demographics from babies to seniors. We are a family who loves and welcomes everyone from all walks of life. Check out the photos on our Facebook page to see the people of our church in action.

Our lead pastor is Pastor Tom Chidester. Pastor Tom is a husband, father, and grandfather who loves people. He is a down to earth guy who delivers God's word in simple terms everyone can understand.
